For tourists at Yangon airport, MPT offers new SIM card deal

Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications, or MPT, is targeting tourists with a new SIM card promotion available on arrival at Yangon International Airport.

SIMs have been available there before, but the difference now appears to be the packaged nature of the deal.

For 10,000 kyat (about $8), visitors will get a card that lasts 10 days, has 5,000 kyats worth of credit on it and a 1.5GB data package.

Additional credit can be bought on the spot.
