The Union of Myanmar Tourism Association (UMTA) is complaining that there aren’t enough signs for foreign visitors traipsing through the more remote parts of the country.
Yangon signage, at least downtown, is covered, but getting around outside the city can be problematic.
“There’s no signpost even in Myanmar language in some places,” Dr. Aung Myat Kyaw, central executive committee member of the UMTA, told Myanmar Business Today.
Seems like a reasonable request.
