Earlier this month, Aung San Suu Kyi’s party told members not to employ relatives as personal assistants.
The announcement explained that “relatives” means siblings, children, son or daughter-in-laws, nephews and nieces, and grandchildren.
And whadya know? The news comes today that the son of the Upper House Speaker Mann Win Khine Than has resigned his post as the speaker’s … personal assistant.
“The Deputy General Manager of the Upper House is taking his position for now,” a source told the Voice. “But his son is [still] going on the trips of the Speaker.”
