Every year we get at least one new poll about the world’s most giving or generous or charitable nations.
Myanmar normally dominates, largely due to Buddhist traditions of giving alms.
But the most recent poll, released by Gallup in September and compressed by the World Economic Forum in a short little video a few days ago, shows how far ahead Myanmar really is.
According to the data, which tracks charitable spending habits, 91 percent of Myanmar nationals donated to charity recently.
That’s 9 out of 10 people.
Gallup compiled figures from 140 different countries.
Indonesia came in second.
