A street artist’s tribute to Aung San

Street artist Zwe Ko Naing painted this mural in Mandalay on Sunday to mark 68 years since beloved independence leader Aung San and several fellow politicians were shot dead.

Martyrs’ Day celebrations are held around the country every year on July 19.

He told us: “I was happy to do it – I drew that graffiti because I wanted to honor them.”
