As of yesterday, there’s only one way to drive along part of Shwedagon Pagoda Road in Yangon.
Traffic now only moves south to north between Mahabandoola and Anawrahtha Roads, the Voice reported.
The one-way system is an effort to clear traffic and help ambulance and firefighters get to the scene of an incident quicker.
“We are announcing to let public know because this system needs participation,” said Deputy Chief Officer Aung Ko Oo.
In other words, don’t screw this up.
