Myanmar zoos are in a buying frenzy these days.
First there was the announcement regarding the heralded purchase of some penguins for the location in Yangon.
And now, the Naypyitaw zoo is attempting to seal the deal on some seals, the Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Thursday.
The poor seals are coming all the way from Uruguay to their new “home” in Myanmar’s capital.
Pity the seals.
For those who can’t make it to Naypyitaw, the Yangon zoo will have “3D drawings” of the same animals, because, well, supposedly that will make people really want to see the seals in person.
