‘Myanmar’s Lady Gaga’ to perform at Strand Hotel fundraiser Thursday night

It’s getting late in the day and it’s almost the weekend, so why not go to a concert?
 
Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein, referred to in the media and by just about everybody as ‘Myanmar’s Lady Gaga,’ will appear tonight at Yangon’s Strand Hotel to perform in a fundraiser for flood victims.
 
The show starts at 6:30pm in the ballroom and is open to the public, according to an announcement on the hotel’s Facebook page.
