Long hair might be beautiful, but it’s notoriously hard to maintain — especially in humid climates.
Not so for one Myanmar woman, whose shiny long black locks stretching past her feet have become a viral sensation.
Pictures of the unnamed woman, who commenters dubbed the ‘Asian Rapunzel’, have been shared thousands of times on Facebook.
Most of the feedback was positive, inspiring a mix of admiration, patriotism and jealousy.
“How lovely!” wrote Pat Dan. “Her hair looks smooth and health. I wish I could have such hair.”
“Amazing hair,” wrote Rachel Phyu. “I wish most of Myanmar girls to keep this lovely Myanmar tradition.”
“The most annoying and wonderful thing that she has, I guess,” added Olesya Tess.
