Myanmar National Airlines has received three out of the 10 Boeing 737-800s it has leased from GE Capital Aviation Services, state media reported today.
“The remaining seven aircrafts will be delivered to MNA by 2020,” Wouter Van Wersch, President & CEO of the GE ASEAN, told the Global New Light of Myanmar.
The state carrier has the biggest fleet of any airline in Myanmar with two ATR-72-600 turboprops, two Embraer jets and six other small turboprops.
The new aircraft will be used on its upcoming international routes to Chengdu and Shanghai.
