Masked man robs Pazundaung jewellers

A masked man sneaked into a jewellery store in Pazundaung township through the back door on Saturday and robbed K1.4 million ($1,200) worth of gold.

“He must have been here before because he knew what was inside the shop well,” Thein Aung, the chief of Pazundaung police station, told 7Days news journal.

The owner reported the robbery to the police after finding the place ransacked and gold earrings missing.

Nobody has been apprehended but the shop has CCTV footage showing a man wearing black cloth to conceal his face.

“It means that he made [the cloth] after researching about this shop,” said another police officer for Pazundaung township.
