Man found gagged, stabbed to death in Yangon taxi

Yangon police are investigating the death of a 54-year-old man who was found gagged and stabbed in a taxi on Pyay Road last week.

He has been identified as Myint Hswe from Kamaryut Township, according to the Global New Light of Myanmar.

Police said the man’s body was discovered in the driver’s seat of the car on June 19.

His mouth had been bound with tape and his chest was punctured by knife wounds.
