Low-budget housing coming to Dagon Seikkan in 2018

Managing director Tin Maung Win from Capital Development Company said 15,000 apartments for low-income families will be built in September 2018 at the corner of Shwe Li Road and Mya Nandar Road in Dagon Seikkan Township.

This project will be implemented by Capital Development Company and Say Paing Construction. Bagan Business Group will also collaborate on the project.

Tin Maung Win said: “This low-budget housing is designed for low-income families. It will not be OK if there is no water or electricity supply, so we will start working in 2018, which is when the government has said it will be able to provide water. We will announce the prices of the new flats as soon as our construction begins.”

The new housing units will be built on 183 acres of state-owned property.

The urban complex will include shopping centers, a market, a school, a park, a playground, a business center, a bus station and prayer halls.
