How to watch the third US presidential debate in Yangon

Once again it’s on.

The third US presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is this Wednesday, October 19.

It’s the last showdown before the big vote in November that will hopefully not alter the fate of the world as we know it.

Unfortunately, it’s also being broadcast at night in the US, not the greatest timing for those of us living here.

The time is 9pm EST, meaning you are looking at rising early on Thursday (7:30am) to watch it here.

If you have a good internet connection you will be able to stream the debate online. Our advice is to head somewhere like Trader’s or Park Royal, where a strong and fast connection can be maintained.

Another option is to wait and ignore the news and replays and commentary and head on over to 50th street, which is once again showing a recorded version of the debate starting at 7pm on Thursday.

For US citizens, the added benefit of going to 50th is that you can get information on voting from here if you haven’t already as Democrats Abroad will be on hand to offer advice.
