The website of the state-run Global New Light of Myanmar has apparently been hacked by the Syrian hacker known as “RxR Hacker“.
Though the site is functioning normally, a post has appeared in the site’s Breaking News section declaring it “HaCkEd By RxR HaCkEr”. The page originally contained a story titled “MOFA issued press release”.
RxR Hacker has hacked dozens of websites around the world, including this Aurtralian government site in August 2016.
That hack came with this message condemning human rights atrocities in Syria:
