Final voter list release pushed back to September

Publication of the final voter list for upcoming elections has been pushed back to September on account of recent severe flooding, the Union Election Commission has announced.

Eligible voters will have 14 days to check they are listed, Radio Free Asia reported.

Some 32 million Myanmar citizens are estimated to be eligible to vote, according to the UEC.
