Downtown burger joint Harley’s open until 2am now

As more and more restaurants in the city abide by the draconian ‘thou shalt close at 11pm’ rule, the late-night eating situation is grim.

But wait, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thy name? Harley’s.

The downtown burger joint is once again open until the wee hours. Most bars and restaurants that serve booze are now being shut at 11pm, but the Harley’s branch off the northeast corner of Mahabandoola and Pansodan rides into the night (perhaps because they don’t have alcohol).

It’s unclear if the same new hours – which went into effect last month – also apply to the Harley’s branch a few dozen blocks to the west on 6th street.

The game-changing new schedule is not a full return to the good ol’ days when Harley’s was open 24 hours. But it’s better than what occurred in March, when the chain started closing at 10pm.
