Chinese embassy offers language lessons to Myanmar MPs

Upper House MP Dr Kyaw Than Htun submitted a proposal in parliament to allow the Chinese embassy in Myanmar to offer Mandarin language classes to Myanmar legislators.

Dr Kyaw Than Htun, who is also the chairman of Myanmar Scholar Association (Mandalay), said: “We have informed representatives from parliamentary offices that everyone who wants to attend can attend this.”

The training will be offered by the Chinese-Myanmar Association, reported 7Day Daily.

Myanmar MPs can already receive English Language training through the British Council.
