Ayeyarwady Bank is going to add some 600 ATMs across the country.
The more ATMs the better, but as one person who spoke to the Global New Light of Myanmar about the story suggested, they have to work.
“Sometimes, we are faced with difficulties in withdrawing money on payday. We expect AYA to facilitate this problem,” Ko Phone Nay Lin, an AYA customer, told the paper.
No word on how many of these ATMs will be in Yangon, where the bank is headquartered.
New Light also reported that the bank plans on opening an international branch, but again, no word on where that might be.
