Myanmar photographer summits 3 peaks in Kachin State on non-stop trek

A Myanmar photographer has summited three snow-capped mountains in Kachin State during a non-stop six-day trek.

Kyaw Thar, from the Myanmar Photographic Society, started his journey through the eastern edges of the Himalayas on 4 May and reached the final peak on May 10.

His journey took in Mount Phonyin Razi, Mount Phangran Razi and Mount Phongun Razi, all of which stand at more than 10,000 feet.

He catalogued the trip on Facebook, posting pictures of himself planting the Myanmar flag on the summits and hiking through the snow.
