You may have noticed his paintings hanging from the walls of Pansodan Gallery on its weekly Tuesday night gatherings.
Rich in color and texture, Han Tin Swe’s impressionistic pieces are dreamy landscapes of everyday life, where purple clouds float next to hills of different shades.

If you are a fan (like we are) check out his first solo exhibition starting tomorrow at Pansodan Scene. It’s the other, larger space just south of the gallery on Pansodan Road.
Here’s a video produced by the gallery that showcases a wider variety of his work. For non-Burmese speakers, there are no English subtitles but you can still get a good idea of the art.
The paintings will be on display from September 11 to September 16.
