Hey ASEAN photographers! Want to win a trip to Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, or Singapore? Submit your work to the ASEAN Culture and Tourism Photo Contest, and you just might.
The contest is being hosted by the ASEAN-Korea Centre, an intergovernmental organization, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ASEAN and the ASEAN-ROK Cultural Exchange Year.
The contest is open to all citizens of ASEAN member countries and South Korea.
The theme of the competition, according to its website is “Visit ASEAN@50”, and there are four sub-themes: Natural Sites and Sceneries; Cultural and Historical Sites; Food and Culinary Culture; and People and their Daily Lives.
The contest aims to promote mutual understanding between ASEAN and Korea by revealing the unexplored attractions of the ASEAN member states.
It is sponsored by ASEAN, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, the TTG Asia, and the ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA).
Submissions will be accepted until April 23, and the winner will announced on May 18.
