MMA: Watch the Burmese Python in action at Thuwanna Stadium (Friday)
Kachin MMA fighter Aung La Nsang (aka Burmese Python) will take on Egyptian striker Mohammad Ali at the Thuwanna Stadium tonight as One Championship Union of Warriors comes to Yangon. Other entrants from the Philippines, Singapore and further afield will take part in the 10-bout event. Pick up tickets at branches of AGD Bank or at MMtix.com.

Art: Wire sculptures at Gallery 65 (Friday)

Buy art and support a good cause at Gallery 65 this weekend, as sculptor and photographer Don Wright exhibits his wire sculptures and environmental portraits taken in Yangon’s Dala Township. The area suffers terrible water shortages every year. All profits from sales of the snaps will go towards water containers and mosquito nets for residents. The show runs through March 20.
