Street art exhibition at Gallery 65
Two of Yangon’s best-known street artists, SATAN & PKST, present ‘DRIPS’, an exhibition of vibrant colors and shapes at Gallery 65 in Yaw Min Gyi. Runs through Sunday.

Boat party at Vintage Luxury Yacht Hotel (Saturday)
The Vintage Luxury Yacht Hotel, docked at Botahtaung jetty, throws another big party. The boat doesn’t actually move but it’s got a kitschy ‘Titanic’ vibe going for it and you can hang out on the deck. Music from DJ Yu KT and Mojito, plus an unplugged reggae-pop session from LeftRight. Tickets are K7,000.

Rain art in Golden Valley
Another art show opens this weekend, at Golden Valley Art Center. This one celebrates the season, with paintings themed around rain. Featuring work by Maung Win Cho. Runs from Saturday through July 30.

‘Racing Extinction’ at the British Club (Sunday)
The British Club’s Sunday documentary nights continue with the Discovery Channel’s ‘Racing Extinction’. The film examines the theory that we have entered a new era, the ‘Anthropocene’, and the sixth major extinction in the history of the planet. Cheerful stuff.
