Yangon is becoming a happy hour town.
The latest to get into the game is Gringos Chilangos, the Mexican-themed eatery we reviewed in February.
Way back then the owner told our reviewer that he was thinking about launching a happy hour, an idea the wise and benevolent reviewer roundly endorsed.
So here we are a few months later, and Gringos Chilangos is finally doing it.
Starting on May 30, beers, wine and house cocktails will be 2 for 1 on weekdays between 5:30pm and 7:30pm, according to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
To kick things off Gringos Chilangos is having a happy hour launch party this Saturday. From 6pm until closing time all cocktails will be half off.
Gringos Chilangos is located on Bo Aung Kyaw Street, across from the Secretariat.
