Half-price dim sum at Paradise Dynasty until Sept. 14

In honor of its one-year anniversary, Paradise Dynasty (“Legend of Xiao Long Bao”) is offering everything at half price until Sept. 14.

The Yangon branch of this Singaporean chain, located on the ground floor of the increasingly Singaporean Junction Square shopping complex, asks customers to “[take] a step back to imperial China” and “marvel at the opulence and majesty of the restaurant settings while immersing yourself in the finest of northern and southern China cuisine.”

Indeed, the interior is pretty nice, and the service is excellent.

The restaurant is known for its eight flavors of xiao long bao, which include original, ginseng, foie gras, black truffle, crab roe, cheese, garlic, and Szechuan.

The menu is also full of yummy, spicy Szechuan dishes, like beef noodle soup and dan dan la mian.

Half of Yangon already seems to know about the deal and has been lining up in front of the place every day at lunchtime. Luckily, tables tend to open up quickly, so wait times are short.
