Look, weather reports are kind of really boring. We should know, we’ve written our fair share of ’em. And most of the time, you just gotta squeeze out whatever vaguely interesting tidbit you can, so the information isn’t as dreary as Singapore’s economic outlook for 2017.
Enter the wizard(s) behind The Straits Times‘ Twitter account. You know how ST used to tweet repetitive, soulless sentences like ‘temp high of 33 deg C today’ and ‘cloudy weather expected’? Well, it seems like whoever took over the job of Weather Tweeting Person-In-Charge this year has done a fantabulous job of simultaneously entertaining people and delivering important information about the state of our skies.
Seriously, that is no easy feat.
