Damn, you really wouldn’t want to be anywhere near this carpark on Wednesday afternoon, when a tree exploded from a lightning strike.
According to the video uploader Fahrol Razi, his vehicle’s rear-facing dashcam caught the terrifying force of lightning striking a tree at Sim Lim Tower’s open air carpark. Watch below as the impact sent massive splinters of wood and leaves around the carpark:
Yeah, you’d probably shit your pants if you were walking nearby, like that dude at the top edge of the screen.
But then again, it’s just another day in Singapore, which has one of the highest occurrences of lightning activity in the world.
