Dash cam videos displaying reckless behavior by drivers in Singapore are aplenty, but this one takes the cake when it comes to the foolhardy factor. In a now-viral clip that’s been circulating social media since Sunday, a red Mitsubishi car was filmed mounting the curb at Marina Boulevard on Saturday afternoon.
The vid starts off innocent enough, as the car overtakes the vehicle with the camera. But when it attempts to make a simple left turn at the traffic junction, it misjudges the distance and crashes into the curb. Thankfully, the vehicle behind slows down enough to avoid turning the situation into a two-car pile-up, but it’s unclear whether anyone in the car was injured.

In the online sphere, netizens were baffled and amused by the driver’s ability to mount the curb on such a simple turn, given that he/she had a wide berth on the outer lane.
