Oh, to be young and feel love’s keen sting. Valentine’s Day may be about a week away, but one young lad didn’t waste time trying his luck in love — in the middle of ITE College West’s open-air amphitheater, no less.
Call the dude cringe-y or infatuated, but you cannot deny the titanium cojones on him for carrying out such a public stunt in an ITE campus, where students can get more than a little rowdy. The little dude actually got on his knees as he presented flowers to his very unsuspecting Valentine.
As the whole amphitheater erupted and howled in laughter at this pure soul baring his heart, he remained undaunted even as his crush’s companions started departing the scene to escape embarrassment.
But lo! Amidst the jeers of the crowd at the ladies for leaving him hanging, a lone girl (who may or may not have been his chosen one) reluctantly took his offering. Out of pity or awkwardness (or both) it may have been, but a glorious victory nonetheless for the young Romeo. Just look at the grin on that face.
