Any festive celebration is a good time to let loose, and since Valentine’s Day is coming up, we’ve put together a collection of parties for singles, couples, and everyone in between. From anti-Valentine’s shindigs and singles masquerade balls to intimate jazz-filled evenings and rooftop raves, we’ve got you covered on Feb 14.

Check out our recommendations below.

GirlBoss: An Unusual Valentine’s

This year, KPO invites every #Girlboss to hit up the watering hole with their #girlsquad and enjoy one-for-one premium bottle deals. As the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, and Britney croon away in the background, ladies can share their privileges with men if they so deign, and staff will be doling out flowers for women to gift to the person of their choice.

Feb 14, 6pm-late at KPO Café Bar. Free.

Hearts Go Loco

For a feisty Mexican fiesta, step into Lucha Loco and go wild at the kissing booth, which gives away free shots for those who participate – all the more reason to lock lips with a total stranger. Also expect beer pong tables, potent margarita concoctions, other hot singles, and loads of amusing match-making action at the fairy-lit compound.

Plus, there’s an on-site piñata bashing sesh for those of you dying to unleash all your frustrations about your love life – just bring along a photo of your former fling to smash into oblivion.

Feb 14, 8pm-late at Lucha Loco. Free.

No Strings Attached

Up on the 45th floor of the Singapore Land Tower, Empire’s ladies’ night offers a three-hour free flow of a cocktail called Love Struck for females, along with complimentary cheesy heart-shaped pizzas for every bottle of bubbly purchased. Besides booze and beats to get the crowd grooving, don’t be surprised if any of you ladies randomly receive a drink with a note attached to it as part of the club’s wingman game for interested but bashful guys.

Feb 14, 5pm-late at Empire. Free.

The Fragment Room

If the self-proclaimed day of love makes you want to smash shit, slot yourself in for a session at The Fragment Room, Southeast Asia’s very first rage room. This party for one (or two) is where you can rant and rave and hurl things at the wall without having to face consequences or clean up.

Singles who haven’t had much luck using dating apps to forget why your romance was snuffed out can haul all your ex’s stuff to wreck, while couples can get high on adrenaline together or perhaps demolish stuff in tandem, in the hopes that all your relationship problems will also be destroyed.

Anytime, really. At The Fragment Room. Singles $38, doubles $75.

Valentine Vendetta

Single and ready to mingle? The masquerade singles mixer returns for its seventh edition with another round of Cupid’s arrows at the ready. So leave your shy self at the door and volunteer for the line-up of couple games such as The Best Proposal – after you’ve snapped on your mask and knocked back multiple shots of liquid courage, of course.

Feb 14, 7pm-late at Post Bar, The Fullerton Hotel. $25-$45, includes one glass of Veuve Clicquot.

VLV’s All-Star Jazz Band

Kick back with your significant other for a soulful evening at the Clarke Quay joint’s newly-launched jazz series. Think of it as a grown-up night out – you’re chillin’ at a happening spot, minus the drunken revelers and the boisterous crowds.

Feb 14, 9:30pm-11:30pm at VLV. $15.

Wicked Wednesdays: Let’s Get Lucky!

Cupid’s Luck cocktail

The V-day edition of Wicked Wednesdays features tunes by resident band One Avenue, as well as DJs X-Treme and Leonard T. Singles can wish for love with a magical love potion cocktail called Cupid’s Luck ($18) – made of vanilla vodka, lychee liqueur, rose and vanilla syrup, and pomegranate seeds – or party the night away with champagne toasts to numb your mind to the fact that Feb 14 is your least favorite date of the year.

Feb 14, 6pm-late at 1-Altitude. $35-$40, includes one drink. Free entry for ladies after 9pm.

XOXO Diamond Life

Forget Valentine’s Day ever existed and dance your heart out until your feet hurt – or until Feb 15 comes, whichever happens first – at the MBS rooftop space to pounding club anthems. Anyone who arrives clad in theme – leather and lace – will enjoy perks, and one lucky lady will get to bring home pink bubbles in a magnum bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rosé.

Feb 14, 10pm-late at CÉ LA VI Club Lounge. $28 for men, includes a glass of premium pour; free entry for ladies, includes a glass of bubbles.
