In yet another terrible mistreatment of bicycle-sharing company ofo’s property, two boys were captured on a clip smashing the locks on ofo bicycles before casually peddling off into the night with their free rides. The 55-second video quickly went viral after it was uploaded to Facebook on Saturday.

In the clip, two young boys can be seen at an HDB void deck, one dragging an oBike away so he can get to the ofo one to hammer away on the lock. Once he’s done destroying the lock, he simply hops on the bike and heads off with his buddy.

According to The Straits Times, the incident has come to ofo’s attention, although a spokesperson told the publication that these cases affect less than one percent of its fleet in Singapore.

“In cases such as these, we will not hesitate to work with the authorities to ensure that our users enjoy and benefit from our bike-sharing service,” she added.

The company is requesting for members of the public to report such incidents of bike abuse on its Facebook page and app. It has also worked with government agencies to create more designated parking spots and establish a credit system to reward good user behavior.
