This is the story of Scotch, the unsuspecting paradise tree snake that got stranded in an office room and found itself impaled and stuck to the floor with industrial tape. Horrible as it was, Scotch found a savior in the form a lady who stopped the 50cm-long creature from being killed. She then called non-profit organization Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (ACRES), which sent workers to rescue Scotch.

Using oil to carefully remove the tape from Scotch, the rescuer applied anti-bacterial powder on the minor wound and released the snake successfully.

If you ever come across an animal that’s hurt and needs help, call ACRES’ 24-hour wildlife rescue hotline at 9783-7782.
