There’s a Joseph Schooling-themed train running on the Circle Line right now

Proving that the hype for Joseph Schooling — Singapore’s first Olympic gold medallist — will never die out anytime soon, SMRT has launched a concept train with three cabins decorated with his, er, wisdom?

Running till Dec 8, the Circle Line train pays homage to the 21-year-old champ with images from Schooling’s recently published photo book, motivational quotes and trivia that’s meant to inspire kids and aspiring athletes.

The concept train is a result of a collaboration between SMRT and the book’s photographer and its editor. The 96-page Hello, my name is Joseph Schooling, was produced by veteran photojournalists Alvin Toh and Tay Kay Chin, as well as the athlete’s mother and commercial rep Mohd Hafidz Ja’afar. Featuring dozens of never-seen-before images of Schooling’s life, the book was published in early October.

The book’s been flying off shelves ever since, so if you weren’t able to grab one, you could probably just soak in the champion’s golden glory on the Circle Line. Also, now you’ve got something to check out when the train breaks down again
