Local Mandopop star JJ Lin could quite possibly be the first Singaporean to get his hands on the much talked about new iPhone X. The singer-songwriter, who was invited to the new Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California to witness the unveiling of Apple products during an event to commemorate the iPhone’s 10th anniversary, snagged a front row seat at the launch on Wednesday.
It was there that the 36-year-old got to hang out with Apple CEO Tim Cook and chief designer Jonathan Ive. He also took the chance to snap a selfie with the iPhone X which, if you haven’t heard, will be available in Singapore from Nov 3.
Lin wrote on Facebook that it was “an amazing experience”, even though that wasn’t the first time he met Cook — he actually had a little jam session with the Apple chief back in May last year to promote GarageBand.
