Two people were hospitalized last night after seven cars collided and toppled over one another in a serious accident last night.

The two unidentified people were taken to the hospital late last night after the accident occurred along the Pan Island Expressway, or PIE, heading toward Changi Airport.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force, or SCDF, said it was alerted at around 10:40pm and took those injured to the nearby Changi General Hospital. Three others suffered minor injuries. There was no update today on their conditions.

Seven banged-up vehicles, one of which ended up atop another, were seen lined up in the right-most fast lane in video circulating online. An ambulance was also spotted at the scene.
