The search is on for a reckless motorist who was caught driving against traffic by two separate dash cams during one hell of a joyride.
The driver with a suicidal tendency was seen traveling in a white Honda SUV along Toa Payoh Lorong 8 on Saturday, where he nearly collided with multiple other vehicles.
Luckily, two of those vehicles uploaded their clips online.
ROADS.sg compiled them into one viral clip, increasing the chance that this sociopath will be caught before doing some real damage.
The order of the dashcam clips may not be arranged in chronological order though, as some commenters pointed out. It is believed that the driver first drove against traffic during his/her altercation with “Nick”. In the video, we can see the huge painted arrows on the asphalt, which indicate the direction of traffic — signs that appear to mean nothing to the white Honda. The Honda gets closer and closer to Nick, slowing down or braking, only to nonchalantly veer around him at the last second and continue on its merry way.
You would think that this driver would learn from the close shave and abide by the rules. Nope.
The other video shows the white Honda SUV coming into view from around a bend several meters up the road. The driver appears to have no idea that he/she is doing anything wrong. The car can be seen barreling toward Chin and his family right up until the last moment when Chin is forced to swerve to avoid a head-on collision.
“SLD2702G wanna die please die somewhere not with my two kids and wife on board,” Chin wrote.
The craziness of the situation is compounded by the fact that we can see in the background of the video, that in the adjacent lane, traffic is moving the other way. Why, why, why is the driver not in the proper lane?
