Sorry folks, you’ll have to wait just a wee bit more to enjoy Singapore’s biggest carnival by the waterfront. The organizers of the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival announced that the opening will be postponed to Dec 15 instead — a week’s delay.
Initially scheduled to open its doors to the public this Thursday, the festival’s organizing team head Barnabas Chia said that they’re still working on getting the “final go-ahead” from specialist engineers, consultants, and local authorities in regards to the many, many rides that’ll be featured across The Promontory and Bayfront Event Space.
“We are making this hard decision to open a week later so that we can deliver on-promise a complete and authentic experience to our visitors,” Chia stated.
The inaugural event will bring in over 40 rides and games, as well as fair food and music performances. Considering that entry to the carnival is free and that it’ll be sticking around till April next year, surely y’all are able to wait out just one more week?
