Another day, another wrecked ofo bike. The bike-sharing platform has since lodged a police report after footage of some kids tossing one of their bicycles down a HDB block — and from up high too, considering we don’t even see it making impact with the ground by the end of the clip.

“This is not my motherfucking fault, I swear. To. God”, exclaims the individual recording the video, before his friend drops the yellow bike down, believed to be from the 30th floor.

It’s understood that the incident took place at Block 116B along Jalan Tenteram, where The New Paper reported that the bike was found stuck on a ledge of a lower floor. The bike (or what’s left of it, rather) has since been removed by a worker from the Jalan Besar Town Council.

ofo keeps saying to the media that cases of abuse against their bikes are “rare”, but lets be honest, most viral pictures and videos of wrecked bikes meant for public sharing turn out to be their yellow two wheelers. Here’s another brat who’s caught on tape straight up destroying a poor ofo bike.

“This is something that goes beyond vandalism and poses a great threat to people’s safety,” said ofo’s global public relations lead Angela Cai to Channel NewsAsia.

“We will not tolerate this and will work with the police and make sure justice is served.”
