Nas Daily, the travel vlogger/Facebook influencer/inspirational personality who came by our shores last year, is moving to Singapore this month. Despite all the grumps and their complaints and petitions (although that turned out to be a satire) to stop the man from arriving.

While he was here last August, the 26-year-old Israeli-Palestinian (real name Nuseir Yassin) racked up quite a bit of accusations about his one-minute videos being paid by corporations, but he also attracted crowds of hundreds to his meet-up – a feat he’s hoping to replicate when he returns, but on an even bigger scale.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the Internet sensation confirmed his move to Singapore after being on the go for the past 1,000 days.

“We’ve concluded that the best place to call home is in Singapore,” he explained. “We just really like the region and the warmth of its people. We fell in love with the good and the bad – so we’re packing our bags and coming soon.”

Declaring his intention to “arrive with a bang,” Yassin said his upcoming April 20 meet-up was his way of getting to know Singaporeans while making a video together (of course) and chatting about his platform, Nas Daily. It being a free event, he encouraged people to show up to mingle with other creators like Dear Alyne, Project Nightfall, and Franco Dubini. The venue has yet to be determined, but judging by the previous gathering and the viral response to his announcement, the masses will likely turn up in droves.

However, even though the comments on his Facebook page were overwhelmingly positive, those elsewhere were decidedly unenthusiastic and dismissive.

Well, haters will hate, but the dude’s still gonna be here in a couple of weeks. And by then, most people will likely have found something else to kick up a fuss about.
