Kids instinctively plop themselves down on the floor of a Hari Raya-themed MRT train

The end of Ramadan means the arrival of Hari Raya Puasa, when Muslim families go around visiting each others’ houses for some good old bonding over fizzy F&N drinks and various keropoks and kueh — basically gorging themselves silly after a month of fasting.

The festive season also prompted the pimping out of MRT trains into proper Hari Raya themes, where the interiors got decked out to look like a Malay family’s house. This is what it looks like:

The inviting decor, however, prompted another kind of reaction — some kids felt right at home and instinctively plopped themselves down on the ‘carpeted’ floor of the train.

All that’s needed here is a makcik who keeps insisting that you eat and drink even though your stomach feels like it’s bursting.
