To celebrate Hari Raya Puasa this Sunday, the Land Transport Authority, SMRT and SBS Transit have collaborated to launch two themed trains, continuing with its seasonal decorations for Christmas, Deepavali, and Lunar New Year festivities. It’s the first time the trains are decked out for Hari Raya, with one train to run on the East-West and North-South Line, while the other will run on the North-East Line.
So from now till July 19, get cosy and make yourself at home (but not too at home — eating and drinking are still forbidden, even though you might have delicious kueh with you) on the trains, which feature ketupat and light decals, as well as wall stickers with living room furniture pieces and traditional motifs.
