Ah, the trials and tribulations of bike-sharing firm ofo never ends in Singapore. After the bikes were deliberately thrashed, dismantled, and painted over by some local users, the next natural step of ofo bike abuse is apparently to sell ‘em off as your own.
About time this happened — someone finally decided that it’d be a funny idea to put up one of the yellow shared bikes for sale on popular online marketing platform Carousell.
The seller who goes by _.anndyy, however, isn’t that wrong in his listing details. It’s up for sale at $0, which is true, considering that the bike’s free until you decide to use it (50 cents per ride). Good to know that it’s labelled as ‘Used’ too, because of course it’s been used before. Condition wise, you’ll have to check with the seller — oh, and make sure you ask if it’s “still avail?” as well.
Someone even dared to highball the seller by offering a dollar for it.
