Visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens over the Yuletide period and you’ll be treated to 200 beautifully embellished trees that illuminate a 2km path at night. They were adopted and decorated with Christmas ornaments by schools and voluntary welfare organisations as part of the month-long Trees of the World festive event by the National Parks Board.
Last night marked the official annual light-up ceremony.
A new Give To The Gardens programme was also launched — funds raised will be funnelled to research and education for the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
Here’s a look at the decorated trees.
The Trees of the World Christmas is on from now till Jan 2 at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, 1 Cluny Rd.
