Way before Yee was known as a self-righteous atheist/convicted vlogger/political refugee, his claim to fame was being a smug kid (totally in-character, btw) in Jack Neo’s We Not Naughty back in 2012. It was a time for the nascent influencer industry too, when local corporations starting enabling more famous internet people to shill their products.
A snapshot of it all is making its rounds again on social media, where footage of Yee and a multitude of local internet-famous personalities appeared together in a cringeworthy ad for Popeyes Singapore. Look, it even featured Steven Lim okay, that’s how old it is. Watch the horrorshow below:
