Cornered near the sink at a toilet in ITE College East, a young man whimpered and begged for mercy as he endured repeated punches, kicks and verbal abuse by a much bigger-sized schoolmate.
Meanwhile, the bully’s friends simply stood by and watched as the violent beat down carried on. Speaking in Tamil, the attacker threatened his victim that he would “break his face” should the victim snitch to the teacher.
The disgusting incident that transpired at the school in Simei was brought to light by Soniya Raj, who uploaded footage of the incident on her Facebook page. And thankfully she did — the viral video was brought to the attention of both the school’s authorities and the police, who confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
As for the revolting assailant, ITE College East has since suspended the student. The school is also rendering assistance to the victim, who has consulted a doctor as well.
