Just before the lunch rush hour this morning, two buses collided outside Ngee Ann City, injuring five people. Aged between 18 and 70, the victims were passengers on the SBS Transit bus when it met the SMRT bus head-on.
According to Channel NewsAsia, the Singapore Civil Defence Force was notified around 11.45am and dispatched one fire engine and three ambulances to the scene. All five were conscious and in stable conditions when they were sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Police are in the midst of an investigation.
