This immersive theatrical experience features a mystery performance by subversive performance artist Lin Bo, who takes you into a realm that blends reality and fantasy, as things are not as they appear.

As part of Grand Hyatt Singapore’s dedicated efforts to introduce a myriad of meatless options to its restaurants (such as the first plant-based Italian lunch buffet at Pete’s Place), this latest initiative brings in a plant-based, gluten-free chicken alternative made from non-GMO soy. The hotel is the first in Asia to launch Heura, which got its start in Barcelona in 2017, and it will serve the product at its food truck in the form of a grilled “chicken” panini with focaccia and vegan mozzarella ($8), as well as a grilled tortilla with cashew nut sour cream ($8).
Heura is purported to be high in protein, fiber, and iron, and low in saturated fats, with zero cholesterol or preservatives. If you’re keen on going the full hog, sign up for the vegan BBQ experience for Sat dinner ($68-$88) at the hotel’s poolside alfresco restaurant.

This weekend fest includes music performances, tea tasting workshops, rooftop moon-gazing, bubble tea making sessions, and more. The “makan” station will also offer free mooncakes and teas, as well as local dishes you can purchase. Other activities include a genealogy workshop, a pouch-making class in the dark, screenings of films like Home Run, and a lantern walk.

The 14th edition of Music Matters Live features 57 up-and-coming artists from 18 countries performing 145 free shows over six days. Running alongside the All That Matters entertainment industry conference, this festival will take place at venues across Clarke Quay and beyond, including the Fountain Stage, Crazy Elephant, Le Noir, The Riverhouse, and Zouk. Look out for local names like Aisyah Aziz, Disco Hue, Estelle Fly, Inch, Shigga Shay, and The Lion City Boy on the line-up, alongside international performers such as Chad Price, Dear Kiss, Demon Days, Kyle Patrick, Noah Dillon, One Click Straight, Scaller, and loads more.

Saturday, Sept 14
This edition of the beach party features tropical beats by Orio and a DIY Beauty Bar for you to get glammed up before hitting the dance floor.

Muse Tribute Night: Celebrating 20 Years
Muse Singapore pays homage to the trio’s decades-long musical journey ever since their first full length album Showbiz dropped in 1999. Expect to hear covers of songs like Citizen Erased, Fury, Dead Star, and Starlight, with contest giveaways at the gig.

This event by WWF-Singapore wants to change how people use plastics by allowing the public to exchange used plastic bottles for $0.50 food vouchers. Those who bring a reusable container from home can get an extra $1 voucher, all of which you can use at the market.

The Mad Chinaman 30th Anniversary Concert
Featuring Dick Lee, the Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra, and The Joy Chorale, this concert pays tribute to Lee’s 1989 work of the same name. Expect to see guest stars like Jacintha Abisheganaden and Denise Tan on stage, too.
