The annual architecture festival returns for its 11th edition with more than 50 events spread across numerous locations. Activities include exhibitions, performances, installations, workshops, and tours of architectural gems.

Yep, pretty much the entire festival is dedicated to GIFs, with more than 50 original GIFs created to the theme of “Illusion” by local artists. Also expect cool beats, masterclasses, workshops and more.

The martial arts comedy performances is set in an average Korean home, revolving around a family of martial arts experts who discover two intruders in their house in the middle of the night.

Saturday, Oct 7
To celebrate Sunshine Nation’s fifth anniversary, set sail on board the Royal Albatross before returning for a pumping dock party with beats by the likes of DJ Passion, Joshua P and Chris Deakin.
3pm-10pm at Royal Albatross. $45-$135.
This festival features more than 30 films on art, including shorts and features that are divided into categories like “Ways of Seeing”, “Holding Space”, “Special Focus: The Art Commission” and “Southeast Asian Shorts”.
Until Oct 29; every weekend at the National Gallery. Free for shorts, $10 for feature films.
Sunday, Oct 8
The monthly pop-up by Meat Smith brings you good old fashioned American BBQ and beers on ice.
Noon-4pm at Little Farms Valley Point. Free.
Presented by the AOS Collective and A Phat Cat Collective, this beach party featuring Walshy Fire of Major Lazer brings you the cool tunes of basshall, dancehall, reggae and hip hop. Swing by for a party filled with chill vibes, sunny rays, and booze.
2pm-11pm at Ola Beach Club. $30.
Head over to Telok Ayer for a day of burgers, alcohol and beats, as Jeff Claudio, the Head Chef of Yardbird, brings his cheese burgers to town. Also on the menu: gravy fries, chilli fries, and sake and whisky highballs.
3pm at Park Bench Deli.
Do your part for the environment by decluttering your closet and bringing all your pre-loved clothes and accessories to Marina Barrage for a massive swap with other fashionistas. There’ll also be ice cream, beats and stylists at the event.
