This new quarterly party series is meant to spotlight female DJs, musicians, dancers, and performers so that they can collaborate and do their collective thing for the Zouk crowd. DJ Juicy M from Ukraine will headline on its opening night, spinning her mix of electro and house.

Yet another edition of this outdoor ballet event is here, with performances of classic works like George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments, François Klaus’ Midnight Waltzes, and Edwaard Liang’s 13th Heaven, as well as masterpieces by local choreographer and dancer Choo-San Goh.

The beer festival returns with plenty of booze, live music, food, beer workshops, and comedy performances over the weekend. This year marks its tenth anniversary, so they’ve beefed up the usual routine — this time adding another 100 beers to the roster (last year was at 500), including ten limited edition brews made just for this event. Expect local breweries like Archipelago and RedDot Brewhouse, plus hundreds from across the globe — Vietnam’s Heart of Darkness, Kona from Hawaii, Stark from Indonesia, just to name a few.

Eat your way through the best of Thai flavors in Singapore at this festival, with bites provided by Thai restaurants such as Aroy Dee, Baan Ying, Gin Khao, Long Chim, Tamarind Hill, and more.

Disney Tsum Tsum Mid-Autumn: A Celebration of Love
There’s magic in the air at VivoCity’s rooftop park, where Disney tsum tsums have invaded to transform the space into an adorable Mid-Autumn celebration. More than 2,000 tsum lanterns will light up the night sky, with themed zones like a fairytale garden with Disney characters, a tunnel of love with Disney and Pixar tsums, a Frozen-themed wishing wonderland, and a massive, 10m-tall Mickey and Minnie centrepiece.

Knock It Down: An Exhibition on National Service
Explore a no-holds-barred view of Singapore’s national service system, including the good, the bad, and everything in between, featuring artists such as Dan Wong (from A Good Citizen), Jerry Teo, Weijing, and more.

One of the highlights of the Singapore Science Festival, this event will feature Singapore’s first bilingual science show (in English and Mandarin) titled Incredible Edibles, The Chemistry of Cookies. Guests can also vote for the performances of the best buskers as 50 groups do their science-themed “show-and-tell”, with experiments ranging from recreating Harry Potter spells to snow-making.

Sunflower Surprise Floral Display
Check out this cheery reinterpretation of the road to Emerald City (the one from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz), with more than 10,000 sunflowers of all shapes and sizes scattered around the air-conditioned Flower Dome.

Wu Guanzhong: Expressions of Pen & Palette
In commemoration of the centennial year (2019) of the artist’s birth, this exhibition explores the connection between Wu Guanzhong’s artistic creations and his literary writing.

LOL all night long when seven local and international comedians take the stage for stand-up, with names like Malaysia’s Dato Afdlin Shauki, Daniel McGrath and Jocelyn Chia from the US, as well as Singapore’s Judee Tan, Sam See, Jacky Ng, and Dzar Ismail on the line-up.

Future World: Where Art Meets Science
Singapore’s largest digital art exhibition is getting a major overhaul, with 10 new digital artworks bringing the total number of displays to 19. The opening gallery now features a new concept called Transcending Boundaries, which consists of six works that explore the relationship between people and nature. The fifth gallery, now named Sanctuary, is like a journey into an oasis of calm, while the third gallery Park hosts two new works, including one where visitors can get hands-on in creating a virtual world of people and animals.

Guinness Mooncake Crafting and Styling Workshop
If you’re interested in the art of mooncakes, this two-hour session consists of creating and customizing your Guinness-infused mooncakes and learning tips on food styling and photography.

M1 Asian Netball Championships
The regional netball tournament returns with 12 Asian nations competing for the title, so if you’d like to cheer on the Singapore team, tickets are available for the preliminary rounds all the way to next week’s finals.

Malt Friction: A Craft Beer Premiere
This craft beer launch party features a range of bespoke Mexican-inspired bottles by The Loco Group, with fringe activities such as live (arm) wrestling, an ultra violet disco loco, beer pong, and piñata bashing to keep you entertained.

The Substation’s first Sub After Dark (SAD) party, which coincides with the Hungry Ghost Festival, will take place amidst a Chinese opera stage created by artist collective Post-Museum. Sentosa Sandsation: Marvel Edition
The sand sculpting festival’s Marvel edition features 15 larger-than-life superhero icons, including the likes of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and the Hulk.

Catch a glimpse of the weird and wonderful marine creatures this Halloween, including aquatic species new to the aquarium such as the bumphead parrotfish, elephant fish, vampire fish, and paddlefish. Kids can also join in a scavenger hunt to learn about the marine species.

The Origins and Heritage of the Asian Games
With the 18th Asian Games held this year in Jakarta and Palembang, historian Stefan Huebner will discuss the event’s origins from its YMCA-founded predecessors of the 1910s to the 1930s.

Big festival covering all things wellness — vendors will be selling products such as toxin-free mineral makeup, superfruit drinks, and of course, all kinds of essential oils targeted for helping with anxiety, sleeplessness, energy loss, etc. There will also be free health and wellness workshops (such as a beginner’s guide to essential oils and eco-friendly home cleaning products), a kid zone, a showcase of the top 10 most versatile essential oils, and free fitness workshops.
